Can Suicide be Avoided? Viveka Babajee Case-The Model

Posted by: astrolife on: July 14, 2010

One of the things which we all wonder is that could we use the sciences of astrology or numerology to forewarn about certain events- so that preventive steps could be taken?

The answer is yes. Destiny is not all predetermined- it can be changed to an extent. Provided we take the right action.

Here we analyze the case of Viveka Babajee case- whose suicide was being discussed recently in the media. As we don’t have the birth time details- we will do only a number based analysis.

Had we got the birth time – we could have gotten some more useful information.

Numbers of Viveka Babajee:

I have got this information from Wikipedia

Viveka Babajee (May 23, 1973 – June 25, 2010) was a Mauritian born Indian model and actress. She held the titles of Miss Mauritius World 1993 and Miss Mauritius Universe 1994.

a) Basic numbers

VIVEKA BABAJEE

4 9 45 2 1 2 1 2 1 155

= 25/7      =17/8

  • Name number = 7+8 = 15/6( 1+5 =6) = Venus
  • First alphabet = V = 22 = 2(Moon)+2(Moon) = 4 = Rahu negative
  • Motivation number = 15/6 + 12/3 = 9 = MARS
  • Date Number = 23=5 = Mercury
  • Destiny Number = may=5+ 23/5 + 1973( = 1+9+7+3 = 20=2) = 5+5+2 = 12/3 negative = Jupiter negative

b) Current numbers

  • Cycle Number main = 7 = Kethu
  • Cycle number secondary = 5 mercury
  • 2010 yearly cycle number = 4= RAHU

Her personality through numbers

One can very easily see from her name number = 6= Venus, the planet represents beauty and balance/poise and number 23(birth date) = 5 mercury represents fun/fashion/outgoing nature, that she had a natural flair for fashion. She was tailor made for the same.

Also her name starts with alphabet V = 22 = 4= Rahu negative. This gives her a special drive to do great things in life- but makes her bit nervousness prone as well. Not satisfied with less.

We all know modeling needs a great drive and ambition- so the alphabet V sort of confirms this profession based on the other numbers discussed.

Her motivation number 9= mars= connects to the entire world also suggests a possible love for modeling like profession- where one naturally gets global.

At the same time number 9 as motivation number suggest- that one has to be forgiving, meaning life situations could be such that one has to forgive and forget. This generally is tough in her case as other numbers also point to certain tough life situations.

What was happening in her life based on numbers

Before we progress to analyze- please note that 1994 year was lucky for her(her name number)- and also it comes to cycle number 6= Venus for her and connects to fashion industry.

At the same time Venus=6 in certain extremes could make a person more idealistic or trying to get more than normal harmony and balance- causing a situation of stress.

So, one can see lot of factors pointing to a possible stressful life.

1) Her destiny number- which represents her general destiny pattern is 12/3 negative- the meaning of it is:

12

Number 12 symbolizes suffering and sacrificing for others. The natives may be victimized due to intrigues or for the sake of others.

2) Her current cycle numbers are 7= kethu and 5= mercury

Now kethu is not a very good materialistic number- it supports inner growth and money could be an issue- this is what was being experienced by viveka- her successes in modeling and personal life were stalled a bit.

Also mercury represents opposing  energy to kethu, it being more of a outgoing energy- so possibly this made Viveka  still going for modeling- trying, but not getting the adequate success.

Kethu also does not give good success in affairs/personal matters.

But you can very well see numbers 5 and 7 created her conflict in this time and destiny number (12/3) in any case do suggest a suffering. On top of this motivation number suggest- those in personal relationships she should let it go- and not expect much.

3) Now her year cycle number for 2010 is 4= RAHU, a planet that can cause phobias and suicides in extreme cases. Also it could create obstacles.

Also note her cycle number =7 and year number =4, a deadly rahu-ketu axis is formed,

So we can see the year number corroborates with what ahs actually happened.

4) But if we look at month number- then month of May= month cycle number 9 for Viveka. A painful number psychologically – especially when she is running a Rahu year and a ketu cycle.

So may be the major pain happened to her last month in may(may be a breakup or some other issues) and as a result in the new cycle month number 1 of June, she took the action to kill herself. Number 1 stands for action. Unfortunately this was a negative action.

We earnestly wish her soul rests in peace.

Also at the same time- we have to keep in mind that tools like astrology and numerology could be a great help in letting us to know what to expect in certain periods and what is the best remedy- thus reducing our expectations and associated anxiety when we don’t get things.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Wishing all of you the best.

Astrology & Human Resource (HR) function of businesses

Posted by: astrolife on: July 9, 2010

People since ages use astrology in Synastry for marriage, which can be called Kundali Matching, Guna Matching, Match Making, Couple Characteristics etc. The objective of synastry is to understand the compatibility of both parties with each other and to know challenging areas in each other, which may need to be polished or to be lived with, thereby ensuring a friction-free married life.

The Question then arises, that if astrology can be used for Birth Chart or Match Making, can we use astrology to choose employees? The answer is yes, of course.

How can astrology be useful in choosing employees? Why and what should one expect from astrology in this matter.

  1. You can know whether the prospective employee is fit for the function/responsibility, based on his natal basic characteristics and nature as well as his ability. He may have studied something else, very much contradictory to his basic nature and may have chosen such a profession, in which he may not have natural inherent abilities, just because that profession gives a good salary. Isn’t such misfit employee, liability for the company?
  1. In higher up levels in your employee pyramid, you need staff who are honest, sincere, loyal and ones who are going to have a good time in their own near future. Knowing well in advance about your important staffer’s times will allow you to be ready to understand his problem and also help him, so that in turn he’ll be loyal to you. On the other hand you can also be ready with your back up.
  1. HR Astrology will also help you choose people in the same arena who can be compatible, leading to a stronger team spirit and thus better, higher, faster productivity. Compatible colleagues akin to a compatible couple, can work wonders, right?

Let’s look at few examples:

  • Sales and Marketing

You might have read somewhere on the internet that Arians are good at sales. It is true to an extent, but the sales abilities would require many other qualities like patience and persistence, on the spot analysis of the customer’s mood and facial gestures (body language). Some products and services need other abilities like imagination in Tourism Sales and the like. All these characteristics come from other factors and planets. Here pure astrological consultations will be helpful in choosing the right person for your needs.

Let’s get back to the Arian. He can be good at sales of arms, ammunitions, machines, and other things, he has proven experience in this field, and you are into sales of luxury cars or luxury homes. Your Arian employee here will not be able to generate leads or be able to close deals, cause his basic nature is speed, not luxury, he will not be comfortable with explaining all the luxurious plus points or elaborate on the comfort and plush factor to the client. With reduced sales and reduced revenue, who is at a loss here? No guesses!!!!

  • Pure Accounts

Here, probably you need someone good at numbers, data entry, who sits at the table and is comfortable at a desk job, who loves detailing and all such stuff. No Arian will fit this place ever, in fact they will mostly not apply for this job, unless they are in dire need of employment. Who will stick to this job and do it efficiently? Employees with flavors of Mercury and Saturn in various forms and combinations, not necessarily, Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius sun signs only.

  • Accounts with Treasury functions

In addition to the above, you need a person who can plan and act on cash reserves to generate some other income and plan your working capital, right? Well whom will you choose now, again someone with degrees from Ivy Leagues or one who has an inherent ability? Say if you have someone with a good Jupiter and Venus, he would be able to generate money with his own instincts as well as foresight and knack of making money work.

There can be many examples to make this article lengthy and impress you about my knowledge of the corporate functions, but let’s understand that everyone got the concept clear.

So, now, how would you approach an astrologer with your concerns on HR.

  1. Define the job functions clearly (some or many astrologers would not know)
  2. Define your requirements from the employee and what you can compromise on
  3. Clearly word your question.
  4. Be patient if the astrologer takes time
  5. Provide more information if required by the astrologer.

Celebrity Astrologer- www.astrolife.com

Pankajj Dhar

Have you ever wondered what is common about the art of astrology, numerology and painting?

Could we investigate these relationships together?

Sure, as you know, the painter is recognized by his ability to paint/recreate scenery or anything based on his ability to mix and match colors effectively. So is a numerologist or an astrologer recognized by his/her ability to mix and match Nakshatras/ planetary or number vibrations for a given chart.

We all know White color Plus Black color, two opposites makes it grey.

Similarly in astrology when Saturn Plus say sun are together or some how combining. That is when say Saturn is with planet sun or is in the sign of planet sun = LEO OR say number 1= sun is with number 8= Saturn, say a person born on 18th of a month, we see conflicts arising as sun and Saturn  emit opposing energies. The conflicts could be with father or father figures. As Sun represents father and Saturn when weak could cause obstacles in the same.

So a deft astrologer would quickly say when he sees sun and Saturn in some form combining  that you could get into conflict situation with father/father figures, your boss etc. He looks at this pattern and tries to judge what would be outcome of this mixture of sun and Saturn and makes a judgment. Just like a painter knows what would be an outcome of mixing black with white color = grey. Simple!

Also just like a painter, an astrologer or a numerologist can paint your entire life or phases of life based on various Nakshatras /Planetary combination of your natal chart or dynamic chart.

Very similar to what a painter does while painting scenery using on various color combination.

So if you look at it painter/astrologer and numerologist use similar tools- only thing is in the tool box of painter he has  colors and in the tool box of astrologer he has  basic planetary energies (Includes rashi/nakshatra) and in case of numerologist the tool box  he has   numbers.

So one can say that astrology/numerology is a science and art of painting life situations based on your individual chart.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Celebrity Astrology on Amitabh Bachchan

Posted by: astrolife on: June 15, 2010

Amitabh Bachchan is not only a National icon in India but a well-known renowned International personality with perhaps an unmatched fan following in the Filmworld and elsewhere on other horizons. He was born on the 11th of October, 1942 at 16.00 hrs. IST Allahabad, India   at 21.41 degrees. We will go through the Basics primarily, in a nutshell. He is born with the intellectual Zodiac sign of Aquarius rising as the Ascendant, ruled by Saturn. The Ascendant or Saturn is placed in the 4th house of the Horoscope at the moment of his Birth. Jupiter is placed Exalted in the 6th house. The Nodes- Ketu placed in the Ascendant or the first house, while Rahu placed in the 7th house. The Moon is placed in the 9th house. The Sun, Mars, Exalted Mercury and Debilitated Venus are placed in the 8th house.

With 4 Planets situated in the 8th house which is considered an evil House in Astrological parlance, how did he manage to have an illustrious Career in the Film Line and gain such Lofty heights?

Jupiter is in its own Constellation “Punarvasu” which gives him the results of the 5th and the 11th house. These are the best houses for fulfillment of desires and gains through the significations of the 5th house which include Drama and Acting. He entered his Career in the Mahadasha of Jupiter itself around 1969.

He rose to stardom from 1973 onwards with the dawn of the Mercury period.  Mercury represents the 7th, 2nd and the 10th house where the 7th House stands for contacts with the Masses, the 2nd house for wealth creations and the 10th house for professional achievements, Name and fame. Note that Mercury is placed in the Nakshatra “Chitra” or the Star “Spica” which is the luckiest star for one to have in his Horoscope connected to a planet rising. Also note that the Sun too is placed in the same constellation in his Birth Chart.

Celebrity Astrology

In 1982 he suffered an injury while shooting for a film “Coolie” and his injury became a sorrow and sad state of affairs for the entire Nation. Note that he was running the period of the Moon which represents the 6th and 8th house which denote injury and ill-health. The Moon is placed in the Constellation Swati, owned by Rahu – The Southern Node of the Moon or the Dragons Tail, which causes Lunar Eclipse.

Till 1987 he suffered adversities of all kinds including monetary, due to evil planetary influences. From 1989 onwards he once again entered into the influence of the planet Mercury and regained his prominence and Status of being a SuperStar.  We have discussed already that Mercury is placed in the fortunate star of Spica.

The last twenty years we have seen him ruling the roost, and one of the most sought after Actors on the Silver Screen. He has also received acclaim as an Impressive Host on the Talk Show “KBC” in India, where millions sitting in the country and abroad have watched him deal with the participants in a most dignified and interesting manner.

Presently he is under the influence of the Planet Rahu until November 2010 after which the period of Jupiter begins for him. Jupiter will once again take him to heights which few people deserve and can aim for.

From above discussions it is evident that 4 Planets placed in the evil 8th house could not be a deterrent for him in achieving what he did, just because of the reason that two of these, the Sun and Mercury were placed in the Constellation “Chitra” which gave him access to the glories he begot.  The Mercury is Combusted as well as retrograde but this did not prevent the combination from producing a “Budhi Aditya Yoga” par excellence. He is well-known for his Oratorical abilities in Public as well as his style of Dialogue delivery in his movies. We wish him all the best for future and look forward to watching more Movies of this “Angry Young man” now growing Old Gracefully.

CHANDRASHTAMA

Posted by: astrolife on: May 4, 2010

Moon, the nearest cosmic neighbor to the earth exerts her influence on many matters of our existence. We are all well aware of the fact that even the mighty ocean soars up with high tides due to its attraction. The Moon not only acts upon the deep waters of the ocean but also on the deepest recesses of our minds. ‘Chandrashtama’ is the period that comes every month when the Moon in its transit crosses the 8th sign from its natal position. This will be for an average period of 2 and a quarter days in every lunar month.

Though the Chandrashtama period should be avoided for any auspicious undertakings, things that need a tough handling like court cases, disputes, waging wars, dismissing subordinates, dispersing punishments/ memos/ warnings, operations, intake of new medicines, etc. should be strictly avoided.

The best way to pass-off the Chandrashtama period would be to devote ourselves to prayer and stick to the normal routines, conscientiously avoiding unnecessary risks such as reckless speculative activities, making dangerous strategic moves to advance one’s position, etc. We should exercise caution in our speech as we may tend to be caustic with our words unintentionally.

During the Chandrastama days we would generally be in complete tension, and have more work load. Doing some heavy breathing exercises can reduce the effects of these.

Recite this ‘Chandra Gaytri Mantra’ 9 times:

Padma dawajaya vidmahe
hema roopya dhemahe
dhano soma prachothayt

What is Tantra?

Posted by: astrolife on: April 20, 2010

Tantra is one of the three branches of Hindu mystic sciences. Tantra cannot be mixed with or misinterpreted as religion or religious practice. Neither is Tantra spiritualism in the perfect sense.

Tantra can be described as a mix of religion and spiritualism, with the sole aim of rectifying any malady when prayers, medicines, meditation or any other regular common mode of solutions, have not given results.

The other two schools of rectification are Yantra and Mantra. Tantra is the third, it again is a mix of both these (Yantra and Mantra), additionally using Tatwa (physical items commonly or uncommonly available).

The practice of Tantra, can be explained as using the natural characteristics, energies and aura of an item or multiple items to solve problems by further energizing and amplifying the energies with the use of Yantra and Mantra, who themselves are energizing modes on their own.

Let’s just understand this with a small example.

Lotus Seeds (Kamal Kakdi) are considered to be LaxmiVardhak (increasing wealth), as Lord Vishnu the creator of the world and life likes it and as Lotus is a symbol of Laxmi (Vishnu’s wife). Thus a naturally available Lotus seed is just a regular Tatva (an item). When the lotus seed is then further energized with a Sankalp (Intention) and is exposed to the energies resonating out of the continuous chant of a Mantra, of a stipulated quantity of chants (usually in thousands or lakhs) for a particular period of time, on a regular daily basis, the aura of the lotus seed changes and gets energized to attract wealth towards its bearer. This whole process is called Tantra (weaving, surrounding, creating), a strong aura for a special purpose.

At times, a single product may not be used, but more items, two, three, four or more may be required, depending on the problem, the intensity of the problem. Sometimes Yantras are also used in addition to the item/s and Mantra. Tantra is always personalized, it cannot be general and mass produced for sales, Tantra is always custom-made and generated for the person in question. So never ever buy such Tantric products that are not personalized.

Tantra, though originally generated around the principles of Hinduism and Vedas with the basic aim to offering highly powerful remedies to the common man, then permeated into Jainism, Buddhism and other religions, at least within India. Though the Mantras, Yantras and the Gods in whose presence (actually witness) Tantra is performed, in Jainism and Buddhism are different. The procedures may differ depending on the principles and practices of the respective religion.

Tantra, too, is of three different types; Good – Neutral – Bad. Currently the world over, people consider Tantra as the Bad Tantra only. This is generally to create problems towards others, like making them sick, hypnotizing a person, creating differences in a relationship and breaking it up and the like. The Neutral Tantra is both good and bad, while the Bad Tantra is for the bad and ill will as evil for the one on whom it is performed. This can be classified as Saatvic, Rajasic and Tamasic Tantra respectively.

Tantra, is sometimes misinterpreted with Hatha Yoga or Hatha Yogis, Naga Baavaas, Aghoris, Kapalis. These kind of people do practice Tantra, but they usually practice Tamasic Yantra, the Bad Tantra. As worldly and material gains of all kinds, is the Mantra of the times, such kind of practices have evolved in majority through such kind of people. This is but not true Tantra. Please do refrain from such ideas of Tantra.

Tantra is pure and not magic, neither black magic, nor voodoo and neither obscene or dirty or filthy. Tantra is useful, provided one practices the Satvic Tantra, which is what is propagated and practiced here.

The 27 Nakshatras in the Hindu System of Astrology

Posted by: astrolife on: April 20, 2010

The Nakshatras or the Constellations form the major and the most important element of the Hindu Astrology and ‘Muhurtha’ streams of knowledge. Without these, our knowledge would be incomplete.

Nakshatra means ‘That which never decays.’ It has been referred to as ‘Constellation’ or ‘Asterism’ and also at times as ‘Lunar Mansions’ by the Western Astrologers. Among these the word ‘Asterism’ comes closest to the actual meaning of ‘Nakshatra.’

The Nakshatras represent a cluster of Stars. For instance, the first Nakshatra in sequence known as ‘Ashwini’ is made up of 3 stars that have the looks of a Horse, hence from the Sanskrit word ‘Ashwa,’ which means a Horse we get ‘Ashwini.’ The Horse thus becomes the symbol of this asterism. The Horse represents physical power and stamina; hence those born in this Nakshatra are always active, tenacious, dynamic and full of energy.

How do we co-relate the Nakshatras to the planets in an individual’s horoscope?

The sky can be said to be a stage and the planets, as the players on the stage. The screen behind the players represents the backdrop of the sky that keeps on changing with every new act in the play. The Nakshatras form the designs on this ever-changing screen. This is like a singer singing on the stage while behind him the projections on the screen can be changing colors or varied scenery which the director of the program may have decided. When we talk of the planet Moon in an individual’s Birth Chart, the rising asterism nearest to the degrees of the Moon at time of one’s birth in the backdrop of the sky will be considered and called as ‘Janma Nakshatra,’ or the asterism in which ones Moon is placed in.

How do they help us?

The Nakshatras form a major ‘anga’ or a major element of the Hindu Panchanga.

The Nakshatras are made use of when choosing a Muhurtha in Electional Astrology.

The Nakshatras guide us to the first letter of an infant’s name at time of ‘Naamkaran’ or the name-keeping ceremony.

The Nakshatras also guide us, quite beneficially, in match-making.

The Nakshatras guide us on how each planet in the horoscope will function. This forms the study of another branch of astrology known as ‘Nakshatra Padhaty.’

Janma Nakshatra

The Moon placed in a particular Nakshatra decides the mental bearings of the native; how would they be, and if they are not in required levels. Then the remedial measures of the Moons Nakshatra Lord Owner have to be undertaken for pacifying and strengthening the Moon so as to decrease the malefic effects and bring an increase in the benefic ones.

In Astrology, there are a limitless uses of the Nakshatras in gauging celestial influences on human lives and other mundane things. It can cover many hard paperback volumes, if one decides to write a thesis on same.

108 Beads of the ‘Japa Mala’

Those who are aware of the Hindu rosary or the ‘Japa Mala,’ used in the counting of Mantras, might also know that there are 108 beads in this Mala. Now, this number is not just a random thing. A circular pizza may be compared to the sky. Cutting a pizza into 27 equal parts each would cover a span of full 360 degrees. Correspondingly, in the sky that we address as the Zodiac, each Nakshatra too would thus measure an arc of 13.20 degrees.

The ancient Indian Astrologers have always preferred precision in their studies and, keeping this in their mind, have further subdivided this arc of 13.20 degrees into 4 parts of 3.20 degrees each known as ‘Padas.’ So, we now have 27 x 4 = 108 Padas. This is the reason said to be for having 108 beads in the ‘Japa Mala.’ It is also believed that when one recites one full Mala of 108 Mantras, he has asked for forgiveness and also requested for blessings from each part of the Zodiac that influences every small or big affair of the human existence. In short, one would be asking for grace from the Omnipresent, Omniscient and the Omnipotent Lord or the Creator, under whose domain the whole Zodiac is contained. In the same way, in the scriptures the Nakshatras too are considered to be Divine beings, worthy of being worshipped through the Lords of these Nakshatras, who are the Navgrahas or the 9 planets in Hindu Astrology.

In other words, we have 27 nakshatras with 4 charans each. Multiply 27 x 4 and you get 108. So, when you take 108 names of the Lord, you automatically are doing remedial measures for every planet in your chart, because all the Lords of these charans are nothing else but manifestations of the Supreme itself. 108 Padas means all the degrees of the Zodiac covered. You have, by taking 108 names of the Lord, actually paid obeisance to all the portions of this Universe.

So, finally the Zodiac as we consider in Astrology consists of the following:

1. The Zodiac of 360 degrees divided into 12 parts each of 30 degrees named as the Zodiac Signs in the order – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces owned by the 7 + 2 = 9 planets, where the 7 Planets comprise of The Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn while the other two are shadowy planets (invisible) called as Rahu and Ketu or the Dragons Head and the Dragons Tail respectively, in Western Astrology. They are the northern and southern nodes of the Moon.

2. Furthermore division followed by the 27 Nakshatras each measuring 13.20 degrees arc of the Zodiac. This again followed by 108 Charans or Padas as explained above.

Below are the names of the 27 Nakshatras and a list of their other attributes. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.

Note that the above list has to be applied with cautions while delineating results and not clinging strictly to the literal dictionary meanings of the words mentioned above. For instance, a person who is born in a Nakshatra whose symbolic representation is a Tiger, then it has got certain denotations that only an expert astrologer would be able to guide. One must not stick to the literal translated meaning of these. For example, in match-making the Yonis representation will guide the astrologer to how the partners looking for a match will compare in physical compatibilities. Same goes with the Gana ‘Rakshasa.’ For instance, in marriage match-making again the astrologer would see whether the Ganas match or not between the partner and if the boy and the girl looking for marriage have each ‘Rakshasa’ and ‘Dev Guna.’ Only then the match-maker may deny the match because a God and a Demon cannot marry and live happily. Of course this would be subject to other conditions too.

A deeper study of the Nakshatra system will allow us to draw out additional inferences.

Sania Mirza’s Marriage: An Astro-Numerological Analysis

Posted by: astrolife on: April 5, 2010

Details of Sania Mirza:

Birth Date: 15 November 1986
Birth Time: 11:28 a.m.
Birth Place: Mumbai (Bombay), India

Prelude:

We are all aware that tennis player Sania’s possible marriage with Pakistani Cricketer Shoab Malik is in limelight for various reasons.

We are curious to know that if this might be a good judgment on her part, based on planets and numbers?

If we can forewarn events, then only the value of astrology or numerology comes in.

What do the Numbers Say?

Her Birth Number = 15/6 = VENUS
Her Destiny Number = 15/6 + 11 + 1986/24/6 = 12 + 11 = 23 = MERCURY
Her Heart Number = 3 = JUPITER (SANIA MIRZA = 11 + 10 = 21/3)
Her Year Cycle Number = 15/6 + 11 + 2010/3 = 20 = MOON and ‘0’ of SATURN
Year Number = 2010 = 3 = JUPITER

As one can see that her birth number = 6, which represents that her personal life is in harmony with the year number of 2010 = Jupiter = 3.

Also her heart number is the same as the year number; so this causes rejoicing.

But note that her natal numbers 5 and 3 makes her too outgoing, which could at times conflict with married life norms.

So a good possible event on the personal front like marriage is being talked about.

The year cycle number = Moon with Saturn; so as Moon represents energy of number 2 = coming together, the affliction of Saturn suggests being careful about partnerships at the same time. This is so since the Moon and Saturn generally don’t go well.

So numbers warn before getting into any partnerships – even in partnerships like marriage.

What does Astrology Say?

She is running Sun Mahadasha and Venus till October.

Venus is strong on the 10th and aspects the 4th House of Home. In any case Venus is karaka for home family/ love, especially in her chart so Venus’s role is re-emphasized.

Venus sends energy to the Moon – the Lord of the House of Marriage. So overall, one can see the chance of marriage is high.

Now, as Venus sits with the Lord of the 8th House = Sun, the past/ controversies could be activated, which we have observed.

Also Mercury, the Planet of Discrimination, is weak/ combust and also sends energy to Sania’s home and also to the Moon. So there could be actions related to home with less discrimination

What is actually happening in reality?

If we look at the facts:

a) Marriage happening
b) Possible decisions taken with less forethought/ discrimination
c) Past issues coming to the forefront

All the above things are pointed to by the divine science of Astrology and Numerology. So, one can see how helpful these sciences could be to make smart decisions, avoiding future issues.

Predictions for married life:

The Lord of 7 Houses is strong in the 4th House of Home, but sits on the sign of Mars, the planet for sports and energy, so it gives energy to the mind and marital life as well. However, if this energy is not controlled, fights are also possible.

The Sun aspect could cause ego clashes and Mercury could influence decisions that might not be really great.

However, a strong Venus along with Moon acts as a balm, although the Moon as we know waxes and wanes. Hence, despite giving strength, this could be lead to fluctuations in marital life.

As Mars directly sends too much of energy to the 7th House, lots of passionate energy can be seen over there.

Also, the aspect of a weak Rahu is present in the 7th House, causing sudden situations to arise and the possibility of staying away from the partner.

According to the Classics:

1) As the Marriage House Lord is in the 4th House/ Home, the husband might not be under her control. He could place importance on the truth, intelligence and religion.

2) In her Navamsha chart, as the7th Lord is in 8th House, she could be deprived of marital happiness and be devoid of good disposition.

Point number 1 suggests as Sania is also not submissive, seeing her chart, so naturally both of them could try to dominate each other.

The same thing is seen in point number 2. However, as the Lords of the 7th House in both charts are fair enough, the intensity of trouble could be reduced, but not disappear.

So overall, restraint has to be shown form both sides.

Conclusion:

A strong Lord of the 7th House and a strong Venus would definitely help her. However, a weak Rahu, a weak Mercury and excess of Mars’ energy could cause problems from time to time.

Overall, basic protection seems to be there, barring the planetary periods that need to be worked out for the whole life time.

She also needs to control the excess outgoing energy of Jupiter, number 3 and number 5, to bring stability in her marriage.

Also this year, Numerology clearly warns her before getting into any contracts like marriage, etc. Similar results are seen by Astrology.

We wish all the best, happiness and sadbudhi to all the parties involved.

What is Mangal Dosha Or Kuja Dosha Or Manglik Dosha?

Posted by: astrolife on: March 30, 2010

In the Indian Vedic Kundali Matching there is a lot of importance to Mangal Dosha, Kuja Dosha, Kuja Dosham, Manglik Dosha, Manglika Dosha, in these days.

People, it seems, fear so much from this Dosha that they just pay attention to only Mangal Dosha and not anything else in the Kundali Matching.

So what actually is Mangal Dosha, why so much fear and worry about it? Let me explain how it is formed.

When Mangal is in the Ascendant (1st House) or in the 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th House, Mangal Dosha is formed.

As per Dev Karalam (South Indian treatise on astrology) when Mangal is in the 2nd House, even then Mangal Dosha is formed.

Mangal in these Houses aspects the 7th House of matrimony and the 8th House of longevity and sexual activity in married life. Mangal, being a natural malefic and a hot planet of anger and temper, its aspect or placements in these Houses influences the following:

In the ascendant, it gives a hot temperament and aspects the 7th and the 8th House, which hurts the matrimony.

In the 2nd House, Mangal gives temperamental speech and as it aspects the 7th and the 8th Houses, it again hurts the matrimonial home, through speech.

In the 4th House, Mangal gives hurt emotions and as it aspects the 7th House, ones influence of hurt emotions and feelings will hamper the marriage.

In the 7th House, the partner will also be hot tempered and as his Mangal aspects the ascendant, the person himself or herself will be temperamental so sparks are deemed to fly everywhere in the married life.

In the 8th House, Mangal destroys the longevity of oneself and with its aspect to the second house, creates hot speech, influencing marital harmony.

In the 12th House, Mangal will aspect the 7th House and as it is in the 12th House of bed comforts, one may be highly active in sexual activity and hamper the marriage home due to frivolous sexual demands and activity.

Above are given the true effects of Mangal Dosha/ Kuja Dosha.

Unfortunately most of the time, people purely and instantly predict Mangal Dosha just by noting the planetary position of Mangal. But many people do not heed to the notes of Parashar about the natural cancellation of Mangal Dosha.

Whenever Mangal becomes the Ascendant Lord or Yog Karaka, the Dosha gets nullified, naturally. Mangal in conjunction with or under the aspect of Guru (Jupiter) as Guru is a wise man, it propitiates Mangal. Moon and Mangal together in a sign (conjunction), will also nullify the Mangal Dosha or Kuja Dosha. Debilitated Mars (Neecha Mangal) is sign Cancer, nullifies the Dosha. When one crosses the age of 28, Mangal Dosha or Kuja Dosha gets naturally nullified as by that time one naturally gets more matured about one’s anger and temperament.

Further, even if one has a Mangal/ Kuja Dosha, if the prospective bride or groom, has Shani in any of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th Houses, the Dosha gets nullified, because Shani, is the opposite of Mangal. It is cold and practical and so can handle the temperament of Mangal.

The Shadbala strength should also be checked, because if it is weak in Shadbala, is of Vriddha Avastha or Mrut Avastha or Baal Avastha, Mangal cannot do any harm.

After cross-checking all these above points and issues, one could responsibly say whether the client has a Mangal or Kuja Dosha or not.

If one finds that there is definitely Mangal/ Kuja Dosha in the horoscope, then Mangal Dosha Shanti should be done by a competent Brahmin. In such cases, never try to save some money by performing the Mangal Dosha Puja or Shanti on one’s own, as in the current lifestyles, the laid Vedic Principles cannot be followed to propitiate planets.

In marriage issues, Indians rely on Kundali matching a lot. Those who never go to an astrologer in their whole life may once in a life time go to an astrologer for Kundali matching. It is so deep in the psyche and genes that people just do not go for a marriage alliance without getting a Kundali matching done. Even in love marriages that are approved by parents, people get the Kundali matching done.

People, now-a-days, consider that Kundali matching is only Ashtakoot or Guna Matching and nothing else. The higher the points gained, the more assured happy married life is (This is the common belief/ myth).

The second myth is that people only ask for the existence of Mangal Dosha in the horoscopes to be matched with the belief that if it is there, the one with the Mangal Dosha will become a widow or widower.

The joke here is not on the common man but on the astrologer, who has one of most noble profession of utmost responsibility. It can be understood that the common man would not know about these wrong beliefs they have, because they do not know astrology.

Let’s then break these myths.

Ashtakoot or Guna matching is actually matching of 8 criteria that are all derived from the Janma Nakshatra (Moon Star/Asterism) and the division of the same, as well as moon sign.

The 8 criteria for Ashtakoot or Guna matching are as follows:

1.  Varna – Matching of the castes
2.  Vashya – Attraction
3.  Tara – Longevity of either
4.  Yoni – Nature and characteristics
5.  Graha Maitri – Natural friendship
6.  Gan – Mental Compatibility
7.  Bhakoot – Relative influence of one on the other
8.  Nadi – Possibility of child birth

As per the chronology above, the numeric points given to each is also the same, i.e. 1 to 8 that together comes to a total of 36. It is believed that a maximum of 36 points can be achieved that is a guarantee of a happy, trouble free, blissful and long married life. Minimum points allowed for marriage are 18; lesser than that, the marriage is not suitable. This is, however, not the only and last thing to check for marriage compatibility; it is one of the tools.

This system was actually devised in the earlier days, when most Indians were never in a position to cast their natal Ascendant horoscope, for want of finances to pay to the Brahmin to cast the horoscope. Thus learned sages and scholars had devised this Ashtakoot system as it was always easy for the Brahmin, who knows the sign and Nakshatra that the Moon is transiting through and thus the common man would just consult him and get to know the sign that his child is born in and thereby name it, based on the letters assigned to each sign of the zodiac. So in future, when these poor people referred to a Brahmin for Kundali matching based on the first letter of the name, the Brahmin could easily identify the Nakshatra and sign both of them are born in and instantly calculate the Ashtakoot and thus suggest about the marriage.

Since most Indians from ages never had the option of the Ascendant horoscope, they started believing that the Ashtakoot or Guna matching is the only tool to match the horoscopes and hence such heavy reliance was on it.

Those privileged in those ancient days, to be able to have their ascendant horoscopes cast, had the benefit of getting the horoscopes matched properly, based on Ashtakoot and the Ascendant horoscope.

The Ascendant based horoscope matches the nature, tastes and hobbies and its similarity or differences based on the relations between the Ascendants and their Lords, it matches the true attraction towards each other based on the Venus signs and the relation between each other’s Moons. It matches the emotional and mental compatibility based on the Moon sign and the relation between each other’s Moons. It also includes Mangal Dosha and child birth related issues based on the Lords of the 5th House and their strengths.

The ascendant based horoscope matching is more important as it entails all the twelve signs, the true Lordships of the planets concerned, where as Ashtakoot matching is only based on the Moon – the sign and the Nakshatra it is in.

This article does not suggest that Ashtakoot/ Guna matching is not important, it is. However, it is not the only system of Kundali matching.
