While many succumb to the predictions, actor Vikram Gokhale refuses to succumb and proclaims that he cannot believe in things, which are not associated with science and mathematics. He finds Astrology generalized and demands it to get personalized in order to gain his faith.
According to him, we tend to anticipate the unlikely and lose the present instead thinking about the uncertain tomorrow. As a result, the worldly efforts also loses its meaning. He persuades his fans to reason every prediction, verify the so-called facts and rectify their belief.
Do you believe in Astrology?
I haven’t studied about Astrology. So I believe I do not have any right to point the pros and cons about the same. Even if I manage to read about it, I do not think I will be able to follow it blindly as some people do unless it is based on science and mathematics, as I need facts.
What is your opinion about the predictions?
I find the predictions generic.
Do you think a person restricts his/ her actions in future if the predictions are made known before hand?
That’s the catch! We tend to anticipate the unlikely and lose the present instead thinking about the uncertain tomorrow. As a result, the worldly efforts also loses its meaning.
Have you ever visited an astrologer? How was the experience?
Once I was compelled by couple of friends to visit an astrologer. The experience was not great because I was told things, which never happened and still stay untrue.
Have you come across any incident, which has strengthened your belief?
An astrologer once predicted about my death. However, I am still going strong even today. I think this has strengthened my belief that astrology is not personalized.
Do you check the daily predictions?
I never check daily predictions. As I mentioned earlier, they are very generic in nature.
Do you wish to give any Astro advice to your fans?
Never follow anything blindly. Reason it, verify the so-called facts and rectify your belief and actions based on the results. Never give up your efforts and be dedicated to your work.
