Star talk with Sameera Reddy
Actress Sameera Reddy reveals about how much she believes in astrology. She calls it a powerful medium if used in the right way. She claims of having chosen not to follow it blindly because she does not want to be complacent as far as her career is concerned. She adds, she intends to focus on her career and is in no mood to get influenced by astrology.
Sameera also shares about her experience when an astrologer insisted on predicting her future while she was barely 14 years of age!
Do you believe in Astrology?
I do believe a lot in astrology. I consider it as a science. I feel it is a powerful medium if used in the right way. But I have chosen not to follow it blindly because I do not want to be complacent as far as my career is concerned. I am keen on focusing on my career and hence chosen not to listen to astrology because I feel I may get carried away.
What is your opinion about the predictions?
I believe a lot in destiny than the predictions.
Do you think a person restricts his/ her actions in future if the predictions are made known before hand?
I think that a person restricts his or her actions in future if one is aware of the predictions. But again I feel it is purely individualistic in nature.
Have you ever visited an astrologer? How was the experience?
While I was in Hyderabad, I came across a Sufi astrologer called Arvind who was a family friend. He visited our house one day and was hell bent on predicting all about my life when I was around 14 years old. I was too young then to believe in astrology. The experience was great.
Have you come across any incident, which has strengthened your belief?
The astrologer had predicted that I would become a celebrity and that I will earn fame, recognition and money and today all that has been proved true. This has definitely strengthened my belief in astrology.
Do you check the daily predictions?
Not really.
Do you wish to give any Astro advice to your fans?
Look ahead. See where you can keep your eye on the longer term. Once you have climbed your mountain, rest assured that you can indulge yourself to your heart’s content. Make it a point to work hard and also take your responsibilities seriously, because it is one hundred percent imperative that if you want the influence you want, you have got to have solid achievements under your belt and in this cutthroat society, it is only the fittest that survive the race.
