Star talk with Babul Supriyo
Singer Babul Supriyo tells Vidya Anand that astrology is a part of Indian mythology and he is a firm believer. He adds that he believes in never leaving a stone unturned and this belief has given him a reason to wear three stones on his fingers! He reveals that people are okay as long as positive things are told to them, but the moment any negative aspect is made known they start playing safe.

Do you believe in Astrology?
Absolutely! I have believed in astrology since my childhood.
What is your opinion about the predictions?
Predictions are very generalized. How can all Sagittarians have a similar prediction!
Do you think a person restricts his/ her actions in future if the predictions are made known before hand?
Yes. People are okay as long as positive things are revealed to them, the moment any negative aspect is made known to them they start playing safe. For instance, I wear three stones on my fingers because I do not want to leave any stone unturned. Also when my friend astrologer meets me, I tell him not to reveal any negative aspect.
Have you ever visited an astrologer? How was the experience?
I have a friend who is an astrologer and whatever he predicts have come true in most instances.
Have you come across any incident, which has strengthened your belief?
In West Bengal, we believe a lot in astrology and consider it as a part of Indian mythology. When I was a kid, around 7-8 years old, my aunt in Bengal knows palmistry. She had predicted that I will be famous and it came true and my belief also strengthened.
Do you check the daily predictions?
I never keep a track of the predictions.
Do you wish to give any Astro advice to your fans?
Luck is what happens when opportunity meets preparation. Believe only in the supreme power, which governs things that are beyond your control.
