Born on 15th March 1976 in Mumbai, India, Abhay Singh Deol can boast of Ajit Singh Deol, a director and producer, as his father; actor Dharmendra as his uncle and actors Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and Esha Deol as cousins.
He was active in theater while in school, which motivated him to pursue acting in movies. Painting, philosophy and journalism were his other interests. He completed his graduation from Mumbai University and traveled all the way to Los Angeles to fine tune his acting skills in a two-year acting course.
Abhay Deol’s movies are characterized by down-to-earth acting. Abhay Deol said in an interview with Rediff that he didn’t get into acting because of his famous uncle and his cousins but because he was involved in theatre in school. “At 18, I decided to take the plunge. It took me 10 years because I didn’t want to leave my education to get into films”. He wants to work with his brothers and his uncle.
He made his film debut in the 2005 film, ‘Socha Na Tha’. The film got him good reviews for his performance. His second film was ‘Ahista Ahista’ in 2006 which got him good critical reviews. His 2008 movie ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ was a big hit not just with critics but with the masses as well and established him as a dependable mainstream actor.
Abhay is a Piscean and is ruled by number 5. People born under this sign are ruled by Mercury. They have an attractive personality, are sexy, affectionate, shy, reserved and secretive. They are naturally honest, generous and sympathetic. They love peace and serenity and are sensitive to others. Pisceans are great kissers, and are easily angered. They are trustworthy, appreciative and return kindness. They hardly show emotions and tend to bottle up their feelings. They are observant and assess others.
Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor will be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Aisha’ directed by Rajshree Ojha. This movie is keenly awaited as Abhay Deol is known to have the knack of choosing the right scripts. It is an adaptation of Emma, a novel by Jane Austen.

Some important points in Match-Making
Normally, we as an Astrologers, do the match-making as per the horoscopes only, however some times it becomes necessary to go through the bloodgroups too. I feel that, being an astrologer, it is our responsibility too, to know the relations between the various blood groups. The following is the chart indicating the matching of the blood groups.
Matching Blood Groups:
Sr. Boy Girl
1. A A & AB
2. B B & AB
3. O O, A, B & AB
4. AB AB
5. Rh+ve Rh+ve
6. Rh-ve Rh+ve & Rh-ve.
Blood Groups not matching.
Sr. Boy Girl
1. A O & B
2. B O & A
3. AB O, A & B
4. Rh+ve Rh-ve
I hope that if we go as per the above,it will help better. I have observed that though the horoscopes are matching astrologically, many times the blood groups are not matching & hence the problems are getting created at latter stage.

September 28th, 1982 saw the birth of the suave Ranbir Kapoor into the first family of Bollywood. He is the son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of Raj Kapoor. This six-footer studied at Bombay Scottish and his college years were at Le Strasberg Institute.
He did the hat of an assistant director on the sets of Prem Granth, Aa Ab Laut Chalen and the award-winning Black.
It was followed by a commercial movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. The much talked about movie hit the screens in 2007, where he starred opposite another newcomer Sonam Kapoor, a childhood friend and a star daughter herself. The movie did not make a big splash but his presence was definitely felt and he won the Filmfare Best Male Debut award.
His second movie Bachna Hai Haseeno released in 2008, in which he played a playboy opposite Minisha Lamba, Deepika Padukone and Bipash Basu. The response to the movie was both hot and cold. Followed by Wake Up Sid with Konkana Sen, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and Rajneeti with Katrina Kaif which were released in 2009. His upcoming movies in 2010 are Anjaana Anjaani and Rockstar.
Ranbir’s Birth number is 1, which depicts that he is a original thinker and lives on mental plane uninterested in physical labor. But he prefers to handle things in his own way. His number is 3 ruled by Jupiter. So he is talented, versatile, lively but restless.
In personal life, he is passionate and impulsive, enjoys conjugal bliss but is proud and does not like being obligated to others.
Ranbir’s life path number being 3, this man will achieve a lot through his talent.
Currently in his 27th year, it is not a bad phase of his life but still not the best one either. He should always add his father initial ‘R’ to his name. Wearing a Diamond will also help.

There is no answer to this. On the contrary it immediately gives rise to a series of pensive thoughts, reality demands the brushing aside of another question – Oh! Don’t I want to make it predictable?
“Man proposes, God disposes.”
People can make plans; God determines how things will turn out. Is this absolutely true? While there is no doubt that life itself is unpredictable for most, there still remains many who like to dictate terms to life rather than the opposite. The rest look on and many think, ‘this is a strong & successful individual’.

Sade-Sati is the 7½ years long period of Saturn (Shani). This astrological phase is much feared by those in India who give credence to Indian Astrology. According to those beliefs, this is a period with many challenges.
The period of Sade-sati starts when Saturn enters the zodiac sign immediately before the zodiac sign of Moon at the time of the birth of the individual. That is, if the Moon sign at the time of birth of the native was Taurus, then the Sadesati will begin when Saturn enters sign Aries. The Sadesati will continue while Saturn transits over this sign and the next two signs, i.e. the birth sign and the sign after it. Saturn spends around 2½ years in each sign. To cross these three signs it takes about 7½ years. Thus the name Sadesati which literally means seven and a half.
According to one school of Vedic astrology this is a troublesome time for the individual who is going through it. There may be a lot of challenges in a person’s life, and he may face accidents, sudden failures, money and health problems. However, there’s another school of astrology that believes that though the sadesati period is challenging, it is not as damaging as many astrologers claim, and that many people actually achieve a lot of success during the period of Sadesati.
The impact of Sadesati is supposed to be felt differently by people of different moon signs. It is said that people of Moon sign Aquarius do not have any ill effects from Sadesati, while people of Moon sign Leo feel the most impact.
Vedic astrology also prescribes certain remedies and mantras that can be recited to please the lord Saturn and limit the effect of Saturn’s Sadesati.
Another related astrological transit of Saturn is the Dhaiyya (2.5 years), also known as Small Panoti (Small Trouble), and Kantakshani, or Ashtamshani. This transit of Saturn occurs when the Saturn is transiting through the 4th sign from the birth Moon sign (Kantak Shani), or from the 8th sign from the birth moon sign (Ashtamshani). Vedic astrology says that these two are hazardous periods, though not as much as the Sade-sati.

In my 10 years of astrology practice I have come across many people who ask questions like
When I listen to such questions I pity their ignorance of the subject (Astrology). Though it is not their fault at all, this misconception of astrology has been allowed to take root in the psyche of the people, because no astrologer has the guts to tell his client or prospective client that this is not possible to tell. There are other astrologers who know it and have the guts to tell but who has the time to educate the people?
Lets come to the point and matter of interest.
Step 1: Understand your basic inner destined abilities from an astrologer through your ascendant. In case you do not know the same you should find it out by providing your date, time and place of birth.
Step 2: Compare the above info with what you have actually developed in so many years, ask yourself, whether you found such characteristics in yourself and whether you are comfortable with the same. Also explore possibilities of developing those identified characteristics through training.
Step 3: Based on your 10th House cusp find out the astrological/destined profession fields you will be able to do/complete with joy, satisfaction ease.
Step 4: Finally compile all the info collected in the three steps above, match it with your education, experience, resources available. Resources can be society, the environment, your locality, your contacts etc. Make a decision. If in doubt or if you have more options and input, ask your astrologer or check online portal for astrological services.
One note – Astrology was never meant to be a predictive science, it was and will always be an Information System and a tool. Those who have matured to this level, the practitioner and the client, have always benefited.
Wishing you all good luck and career hunting success,

Jupiter, also known as Guru, is considered to be amongst the most Benefic planets in Astrology. It is the largest planet in the family of the Sun, and comes nearest in comparison with the Sun in regards to its size. It takes around 12 years to go round the Sun which in other words also means that it remains in each zodiac sign for one Year approximately, in transit or Gochar. It is considered to be as a “Teacher” or a “Guru” as the name suggests. Jupiter in any Birth Chart-Horoscope, if placed strong by Sign placement and House, and also well aspected, it will make the native truthful, honest and provides him “Divine Grace”
Basics
Jupiter is also known as “Brihaspati”. It rules over the two signs of the zodiac, one being “Sagittarius” and the other being “Pisces”. It achieves Exaltation in the sign of the Moon which is “Cancer” and its deep Exaltation point is at 5 degrees of Cancer. It gets debilitation in the sign of Saturn – Capricorn. Jupiter achieves Directional strength in the Lagna or the first house. The symbol of Sagittarius is the “Archer” therefore those natives who are ruled predominantly by an Elevated Jupiter in their charts will hit or achieve their targets much easier than other natives. The sign Pisces being a Watery sign and the symbol being Fishes, Jupiter also represents “Expression” or “Speech”.
Jupiter is the reason or cause for very famous Yogas like “Gajakesari Yoga” or Pancha Maha Purusha yoga like “Hamsa Yoga” among many others.
It is a Male planet and is of “Sattva” Guna. Thus those with a well placed Jupiter would be good honest men, of peaceful temperaments, Religious, God fearing, Justice minded and Wise advisors to those who may need their counsel.
Jupiter denotes the North-East direction. Those who are acquainted with Vaastu, are aware that this is the most auspicious part of the Plot which is known as “Eeshan” where an image of the Lord one worships, is kept for daily worship.
Special Aspects of Jupiter
All planets have been allotted a common dhrishti which is known as aspect. Aspect means to influence another planet, or house and zodiac sign. Normally every planet has been given the 7th house power of aspect which means that it can aspect the planet seated in the 7th house and sign from its own placement. But Jupiter has been given special powers of the 5th and 9th house Aspect apart from the 7th one. Therefore if Jupiter is well placed suppose in the 5th house, then it will aspect the 9th house as well as the Lagna or 1st house, making a complete Trikona aspect Plus its aspect to the 11th house of gains. This could be considered as a very fortunate Horoscope indeed from all counts, material as well as spiritual.
Nakshatras or Constellations owned by Jupiter
The Constellations owned by Jupiter are, Punarvasu, Visakha and Purva Bhadra. If Jupiter is the Lord of a Benefic House in ones Horoscope, and if 3 or more planets are placed in the constellations owned by Jupiter, it would then create a very good impact on the positivity of the Horoscope and the destiny of the native.
Astrological but Mythological associations
In mythology, Brihaspati is the son of Angirasa (Anga- physical body; rasa –the fluid in the body). There is a continuous secretion and flow of fluid in the body, in sorrow, or joy, fear or anger, hope or disappointments. The food intake is the source of the fluid (Rasa) and this exercises influence over the body and mind (Chittavriiti) which is why Brihaspati also concerns our food, Life and Living. It gives power to sustain; thus connecting to the Liver in the body that sustains Life.
Brihaspati is also addressed as Bachaspati or Master of Speech, or Lord of Language, Eloquence and wisdom. Here “Bach” represents “Bak” or commonly known as “Vak” or speech, and “Pati” means Master. Like water travels freely in the sign of Pisces owned by Jupiter, so does Birhaspati represents expressions.
It is characterized as “Dev Guru” or the one who gives guidance to the Devtas – Gods. Hence those with positive influence of Jupiter are also religious in their temperaments.
Signifies
Jupiter is significator of Good fortune being the Lord of the Natural “Bhagyasthana” in the KalaPurusha Kundli.
The 9th house also represents Long Journeys, and so does Jupiter.
The 9th house represents “Dharma” and so does Jupiter represents “righteousness” or “Justice”. It represents higher consciousness.
Jupiter is the Karaka for Gold or “wealth” or “Finance”.
In the Horoscope of a female it is additionally the karaka for the “husband”.
Jupiter is karaka for Child.
When we make Prashna or Horary charts the above karakas help in determining a positive answer easily if they appear in the Ruling Planets.
Body and Health related Significations
Growth and accumulation is the forte of Jupiter. It Rules over the Liver in the body, tumors, malignancy, Organs of hearing, Lower abdomen, region of Hips, Circulation of Blood, Blood Pressure, arteries, and fat in the body which is why those natives having influence of Jupiter on their Lagnas tend to develop fat or bulky in their middle ages. The 9th house in the natural Horoscope of Kala Purusha Kundli appears in Sagittarius sign ruled by Jupiter and it represents the portion of legs above the knees, hence this part of the legs too is covered as territory of Jupiter along with the lower portion of the feet which represent the last part of the body downwards, just as the Pisces sign ruled by Jupiter is the last sign of the zodiac. Elephantitis in legs is governed by Jupiter. Of course Jaundice too, as Jupiter rules over Liver as mentioned above.
Other matters represented by Jupiter
Jupiter represents Temples, Law Courts, Colleges and schools, big palatial buildings, and all places where religious discourses are held. Construction of School , Colleges, Universities, Charitable institutions, Hospitals, sanatoriums, Banks, Temples, Church, Mosque will all come in domain of Jupiter.
Logic is perfectly represented in astrological inferences. The 9th House Sagittarius also signifies Higher education; therefore Jupiter represents College and Education.
The 9th house denotes Long travels, hence all matters related to Travelling to a distant place.
The 9th house represents Father in Hindu Astrology, and Father is also known as the first Guru hence ones “Guru” or “Preceptor” are represented by Jupiter.
The 9th represents “Religion” and the 12th house Pisces represents Discourses and philanthropic work, therefore Jupiter is also connected to discourses or Sermons.
The 12th house also represents Investments on Long term basis so one has to connect this Logic with Jupiter. The 12th house deals with Expenditures, Capital Investments, Outflow of finances, therefore foreign exchange, The Reserve Bank, Forex, rise in Shares and Stocks, are all governed by Jupiter.
Since the 12th zodiac sign of Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, all aspects of the 12th house, like foreign travels, hospitalizations, the other world, Moksha or Salvation is also ruled by Jupiter.
Jupiter is the largest planet and has traits of expansion, therefore whatever it connects with, would be big, vast or enormous.
Since Jupiter is large or expressive – becoming famous, Gaining respect in society, Promotions, progress is all governed by Jupiter.
Professions connected to Jupiter
Any profession connected to religion, Preaching, Priestly professions come under domain of Jupiter. Since the zone of Knowledge is also symbolized by Jupiter, any professions connected to Educational institutions too come under sphere of Jupiter. Since Jupiter connected to “Dharma” or “righteousness” being a “Dev Guru” or “Teacher” all professions connected to legal, Law, Courts of Law, comes under its province. Since Jupiter is karaka of “Children” all professions connected to child rearing and nurturing like Mother Toddler play schools etc, come under the realm of Jupiter. So does Navy, Foreign Travel related professions since the 9th house of Travels is ruled by Jupiter as owner of Sagittarius the 9th zodiac sign. Since Jupiter rules over Fat, all professions connected to products which increase fat in the body, like trade in Milk, Ghee, Sweetmeats, Almonds, Cashew nuts, and Peanuts, etc. Jupiter being Lord of the 12th and Pisces sign in natural Horoscope, all professions connected to Hospitals, Prisons, Publicity, foreign trade, Ship building, Offshore Drilling, development, etc,
To summarize, all professions connected to legal affairs, Brahmins, Teaching, Scriptures, Lawyers, advocates, Interest, Rent, Banking and finance, Minister
To Conclude
There are other technical matters which may transform the effects of Jupiter that may undergo a change due to aspects and conjunctions from other planets. Jupiter in mundane astrology too is a subject matter of importance. But these are issues of study, to be dealt separately.
In Individual Horoscopes a strong Jupiter is synonymous to a strong promise and assurance of “Divine interventions” and “Providential help” available to a native in times of stress and strife in his Life provided all other planetary positions being congenial. It is also an indicator of past “Purva Poonya” or results of past good actions now bearing fruit in this Birth.
